Plans and implements resource allocation for projects/programs in consideration of project scope complexities, available capacity, resource qualifications/expertise, department productivity and travel to maximize efficiencies, project profitability and overall success.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other job-related duties may be assigned in conformance with state and federal regulations.
Core:

  • Directs and oversees scheduling activities for Asset Management-specific building assessments including but not limited to: Facility Condition Assessments (FCA), energy audits, accessibility assessments, mechanical equipment evaluations, space planning, and other technical services associated with capital planning of commercial, institutional, and/or municipal facilities.
  • Monitors field resource licenses and qualifications to determine additional resourcing needs. Specific licenses include but are not limited to: Registered Architect, Professional Engineer, Certified Energy Manager, BPI Building Analyst, HERS II Rater, HERS Building Performance Contractor, Multifamily GreenPoint Rater, Certified Energy Engineering Professional, ADA certification (such as ADAC, CASp, TX RAS, IBC Certified Inspector Plans Inspector).
  • Collaborates with leadership to identify qualified subcontractors to meet program requirements. Maintains and fosters the relationship between subcontractor and company to ensure future project engagement. Initiate and verify purchase orders.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with client requirements as it relates to background checks, country access, base access and site access.
  • Provide key stakeholders with advanced project/program data analysis.
  • Collaborate with leaders to identify program risks, opportunities and develop comprehensive action plans.
  • Utilize effective problem-solving skills to manage the execution of complex programs.
  • Perform special projects as assigned by leadership to capture additional requirements or satisfy client needs.
  • Manages internal and external portals to report on key program milestones.
  • Maintain equipment inventory and distribute equipment based on the program requirements.
  • Maintain utilization and billability targets.
  • Assemble and deliver custom reports.
  • Prepare client presentations, final summaries and graphics/charts.
  • Facilitate and disseminate simplistic and complex client comments.
  • Identify shadow and mock write opportunities for new hires.
  • Complete data analysis and produce Preventative Maintenance schedules.
  • Independently develops resource plans for projects/programs based on the project scope complexity, qualifications/expertise, travel efficiencies, department productivity and capacity to maximize project profitability and success. Project scopes vary in complexity due to different facility types, protocols, client-specific requirements, contractually agreed upon turn-around times, local regulations and code, geographic locations, and site conditions.
  • Responsible for analyzing and deploying resource pool in relation to project needs, to quickly select and deploy field resources to execute multiple projects simultaneously and in a cost-effective manner.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with team members and client representatives.
  • Manages internal and external field resource pool through web-based project management system, including managing availability, geographic locations, qualifications, skillsets, and maps/negotiates employee compensation within program guidelines.
  • Evaluates field capacity against forecasted resource needs and communicates with key stakeholders to ensure adequate level of field staff both geographically and with the required qualifications/skillsets.
  • Analyzes field capacity against forecasted resource needs and communicates with key stakeholders, including leadership and Sales team, on how quickly operations can execute on potential projects/programs.
  • Liaison between operational leadership, project resources, clients, and client representatives.
  • Works across division lines to identify potential qualified, cost-effective resources for upcoming projects and identify future cross-resourcing opportunities with field staff.
  • Determines alternate resourcing solutions when travel costs exceed budgeted goals, including evaluation of utilizing internal full-time staff, per-project staff, desktop resources, and/or external subcontractors.
  • Analyzes various datasets to evaluate project/program progress, delivery schedules, potential challenges and develop/implement necessary solutions in a timely manner.
  • Provides guidance and resolves challenges in relation to point of contacts, site access, site information, report deliverables and project resources.
  • Maintains responsibility for Client Supplied Materials (CSM) by identifying and organizing valid documents, as-builts, prior reports, and ensuring assigned field staff have applicable project documents prior to onsite.
  • Participates in and facilitates project/program setup, client kick-off meetings, and internal project kick-off meetings.
  • Designs, implements and/or executes operational and organizational initiatives.
  • Protects operations by keeping company information confidential.
  • Delivers outstanding customer service through timely response and proactive solutions to clients’ needs.
  • Demonstrates BV’s guiding principles in support of the company's strategic goals.
  • Follows all documented policies, Standard Operating Procedures, and Work Instructions applicable to the position and support of BV's quality standards and strategic initiatives.
  • Maintains safe and clean work area by complying with all procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • May be required to work overtime with prior authorization from supervisor.
  • Must be able to meet the physical demands of the job.

Professional discretion and the ability to clearly communicate the aforementioned both externally and internally are paramount to this role.
